The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming bout.
Former twice world boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Still, the novice remains one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
